    I understand your concern.

    To answer your question, let me tell you that the size of the prostate varies with age,it enlarges with passing of years and especially after the age of 40.

    Here I need to stop and ask a few questions in order to understand your health status better:

    • your age?
    • are you having any problem with passing urine?
    • what other health problems are you facing now?

    Anyway, a PVR (prostate volume rate) of 43 cc is considered an abnormal enlarged prostate that usually comes from a condition called benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) but not only.

    A further consultation and examination by urologist is highly recommended. If you have already consulted an urologist, please send the reports of exams to me.
