Heart Palpitations more frequent when I take a deeper breath
Question
Male, 27, 145 lbs – Hi, yesterday morning I started to feel, what I believe to be, heart palpitations.
It was intermittent at first and not frequent.
Now, as I lay down for bed, it is more frequent when I take a deeper breath, yawn, or change positions.
There is no pain, but I can feel it in my chest and lower throat.

Hello!
Heart palpitations often don’t indicate a health problem. They can be caused by a variety of factors, physical disorders/psychological disorders. Rarely, heart palpitations can be triggered by a serious pathological cause such is for example: arythmia, hypotension, fever, anemia, thyroid .
At first make sure you are not consuming substances that interfere with the heart beating like caffeine, drugs, cigarettes, or doing excessive physical activity.
If this situation persists you should meet you doctor. May be you need to do some examinations to evaluate the cardiac function (ECG, Cardiac ultrasound, stress test) and the other systems functions too.
What you can do for the moment is adopting a proper lifestyle (balanced nutrition, smoking and drugs abolition, physical activity of medium intensity, reduced alcohol consumption, elimination of stress, etc).
Hope my answer will help you!
