You say that blood sugar measuring after eating food was 9.4. It is really high taking into account the normal range of less than 8.0 mmol/L after eating.
However, here I should stop and ask a few more questions and have a few more details regarding your actual health status:
– how long after eating did you take the test? If it was after one hour of eating, then, should repeat again
– are you a diabetic? are you taking diabetic meds?
– what other illness are you suffering of?
– any other blood test: complete blood count? lipid profile? liver/kidney function test?
We cannot judge based on only one information. We should evaluate all the findings to determine the right diagnosis and treatmet strategy.
