40, IUD, increased HR and palpitations
Question
The past few months I’ve been getting heart palpitations and increased heart rate about once a month. I believe it to be related to my menstrual cycle, but currently have a Mirena IUD( had it for 3 years so far), so I am not overly aware of my cycle timing. It’s unnerving and causing anxiety, and have gone to the ER twice, only to be sent home and told nothing is wrong. Can my hormones be totally out of whack? What can I do to ease the increased HR and palipations?
