Hi,
I understand your concern
The Gleason score is a grading system of prostate cancer and it is determined from the results of the biopsy.
It is used to predict the prognosis and to choose the most effective treatment strategy.
The Gleason score 7 (4+3) is an intermediate grade.between that of less aggressive and the aggressive one.
To understand better cancer with a score of 7(4+3) are more likely to grow and spread than those with gleason scores 7(3+4),6 or lower and are less likely to grow and spread than cancers with gleason score 8 or greater.
So,after this yours result of Gleason you may be referred to an cancer specialist (oncologist) and together you will choose the type of therapy but before that he probably will ask for some additional tests to help him choosing the best treatment opsions.
You should understand that the most effective therapy does vary only on Gleason score so the oncologist might need your blood PSA level, digital rectal exam, and a couple of imaging tests.
However, usually the most common therapy for gleason score 7(4+3) is radiation therapy, surgery, hormone therapy or a combined therapy.
Hope it helped
