    Hello,

    I read your message and understood your concern.

    A random blood glucose level must be under 200mg/dl in order to be considered normal. Numbers over 200 indicate diabetes.
    Anyway a random blood glucose is not a definitive test for the diagnosis. Please consider to do a fasting blood glucose test and HbA1c test and send the results to me for interpretation.

    A high blood glucose level in random test may have other causes beside diabetes such as a meal full with carbs, high sugar intake, specific medications, exercise etc.

    On the other hand symptoms such as frequent urination, thirst, gaining weight and fatigue are very common in diabetic people. Please mention to me all the symptoms you have and let me see the medical records if you have any.
