Whats going on

Question

Im 41 my period is as regular as they come. Jan my period was to start on the 16 it didnt come til the 24. Ive been bleeding since then but light not enough to fill a tampoon sometimes i dnt have to wear anything but when i got to restroom and wipe blood is there. Its a dark red to a brownish color like when your period is going off. What’s really the issue can i be pregnant

    I understand your concern.

    No, the blood you experience each time you wipe in the restroom is not from being pregnant. I suspect of 2 main causes:

    hormonal imbalance (should check the levels of TSH, LH, progesterone and estrogen in blood)
    any polyp of uterus or its neck. Pap smear testing is recommended in this case.

    I advise to discuss this with your gynecologist and run the requested tests for proper diagnosis.
